By Elite Med Spa | Berwyn, just west of Chicago | Updated October 2026
Quick Answer
Chicago med spa prices tend to run highest in downtown neighborhoods like River North and the Gold Coast. Published Botox prices at med spas in River North, Streeterville, the Gold Coast and Lincoln Park often sit at $15 to $16 per unit. At Elite Med Spa in Berwyn, just west of the city, Botox Cosmetic is $13 per unit, HydraFacial starts at $150 and parking is free. For a typical Botox visit, that can mean $80 to $120 saved, every time.
Why Downtown Med Spas Cost More
A med spa in River North and a med spa in Berwyn can use the same FDA-approved products. So why do prices differ?
Mostly, it is rent. Office space in the Gold Coast, River North and the Loop is some of the most expensive in the Midwest. That cost has to go somewhere, and it usually goes into the price of your treatment.
Chicago price surveys say the same thing. Med spas in high-rent neighborhoods tend to price at the upper end of the local range. Offices just outside the city often charge less for the same products.
Then there is the cost that never shows up on the menu: parking.
Chicago Med Spa Prices: Downtown vs Berwyn
Here is how common treatments compare. Downtown and city numbers come from published menus, price pages and business responses from med spas in River North, Streeterville, the Gold Coast and Lincoln Park. Elite prices come from our menu and prices page.
| Treatment | Downtown and city med spas | Elite Med Spa, Berwyn |
|---|---|---|
| Botox Cosmetic | Often $15 to $16 per unit | $13 per unit |
| HydraFacial | Often starts around $199 | From $150 |
| Lip filler, 1 syringe | About $650 to $950 | Juvederm from $550, Restylane Silk from $250 |
| Parking, 2 hours | About $9 to $16 in a River North garage | Free on-site parking |
Prices change often, at every med spa, including ours. Always confirm your final quote at a consultation.
What the Savings Look Like Over a Year
One visit does not tell the whole story. Most med spa treatments are repeat treatments. That is where the gap adds up.
Botox. Say your plan calls for 40 units.
- At $13 per unit, that is $520.
- At $15 to $16 per unit, that is $600 to $640.
- You save $80 to $120 per visit.
Botox lasts about 3 to 4 months, so most people come back 3 or 4 times a year. That works out to roughly $240 to $480 a year on Botox alone.
HydraFacial. Many clients get a HydraFacial about once a month. If a downtown facial starts around $199 and ours starts at $150, that is $49 per visit. Over 12 months, that is about $588.
Lip filler. A full syringe in Chicago usually runs about $650 to $950. Juvederm at Elite starts at $550. That is $100 to $400 saved per syringe. Our lip filler cost guide breaks down every price in detail.
Parking. Two hours in a River North garage usually costs about $9 to $16 when booked through a parking app. Drive-up rates are often higher. Parking at our Berwyn office is free.
Watch Out for the First-Visit Price
Some downtown med spas advertise first-visit Botox as low as $8 or $9 per unit. That sounds great. But the price for every visit after that is often higher.
Botox is not a one-time treatment. You will pay the regular price on visit two, three and four. So compare the regular price, not the opening deal.
At Elite Med Spa, Botox Cosmetic is $13 per unit on every visit. New clients also save 20 percent on the first visit with code NEW25. Current deals are always listed on our special offers page.
How to Compare Two Med Spa Quotes
A lower price only matters if you are comparing the same thing. Ask every med spa these questions:
- Do you charge per unit or per area? Per-area pricing can hide how many units you get.
- How many units do you recommend for me? Two quotes with different unit counts are not the same quote.
- Which brand will you use? Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Daxxify are priced differently. See Botox vs Dysport vs Xeomin vs Daxxify for how they compare.
- Is a touch-up included? At Elite Med Spa, Botox touch-ups within two weeks are free.
- Who will inject me? Ask for their name and license.
- What is my total cost? Get one number for the full plan, not a starting price.

Lower Price, Same Standards
A good price should never mean cutting corners. In Illinois, injections and medical lasers are medical treatments. They must be done by licensed providers or properly delegated under state rules.
Here is what you get at Elite Med Spa:
- FDA-approved products, including Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm and Restylane.
- Licensed medical providers. Every treatment is performed or supervised by licensed medical professionals.
- A Platinum-Level Botox provider. We are one of the few in the Chicago area.
- A free consultation before any treatment plan.
- No extra charge for men on Botox.

Getting to Berwyn From the City
Elite Med Spa is at 6203 Cermak Rd in Berwyn, just west of Chicago.
By car. Head west on I-290 or Cermak Road. Cermak runs straight west from the city through Cicero into Berwyn. Parking is free and on-site.
By train and bus. Take the CTA Pink Line from the Loop to the 54th/Cermak station in Cicero. Then take Pace Route 322 west on Cermak Road. We are about a mile west of the station.
Who is closest. For many people on the Southwest and West Sides, including Little Village, Archer Heights, Garfield Ridge and Austin, Berwyn is closer than downtown.
When we are open. Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday, 9 AM to 2 PM. If you work downtown during the week, Saturday mornings are an easy fit.
When Downtown Makes More Sense
The drive is not right for everyone. Downtown may be the better choice if:
- You work next door to a med spa and want quick lunch-hour visits.
- You need evening appointments. We close at 4 PM on weekdays.
- You already have an injector you love. Great results with a provider you trust are worth paying for.
For everyone else, the math usually favors the short drive.
Treatments Where Location Matters Most
The more often you come back, the more the price gap adds up. These are the treatments where it matters most:
- Laser hair removal. Most people need 6 to 8 sessions. That is 6 to 8 trips, and 6 to 8 parking bills downtown. Our 6-session packages save 20 percent. See every area in our laser hair removal cost guide.
- Botox. Repeated every 3 to 4 months, for years.
- HydraFacial. Often done monthly.
- Dermal fillers. Topped up every 6 to 12 months.
