Sculptra | Add Volume, Fill Grooves And Hollow

Inside you feel young and vibrant, but lately you’ve noticed your outside appearance has begun to change, and not for the better. Because you lose collagen each year after the age of 18, smile lines, facial wrinkles, and folds start to form. When you are ready to look as young as you feel but still want to look like yourself, long lasting dermal filler Sculptra can help you build collagen so that your appearance becomes naturally and gradually more youthful.

What is Sculptra?

Sculptra Aesthetic offers semi-permanent results and can reduce wrinkles up to 80%. Especially effective for improving deep smile lines, Sculptra’s main ingredient is a biocompatible material that helps you regrow collagen and is eventually dissolved by the body. Our medical practitioners have been providing injections like Sculptra for more than 16 years.

How Does It Work?

Unlike dermal fillers that use product to fill lines, Sculptra rebuilds collagen to plump lines and restore facial volume for an overall more youthful appearance. Sculptra’s main ingredient is synthetic poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which is used in dissolvable stitches, and dissipates after doing its job to turn back your clock.

Sculptra has been approved by the FDA for cosmetic purposes and can be used to improve deep smile lines and chin wrinkles, restore facial volume, and boost hollow areas like sunken cheeks or temples.

Because it works deep within the dermis to replace lost collagen, Sculptra can help even if you have already experienced decades of collagen loss.

Administered through a series of treatments, Sculptra improves your appearance gradually, providing subtle results over time.

Sculptra is made from poly-L-lactic acid and is different from other fillers because it works to gradually increase collagen and lift the skin from below. Most patients find a series of 3 treatments spaced about a month apart will offer subtle but visible results over time.

The effects of Sculptra appear over time. After completing your treatment session over the course of a few months, you will gradually begin to notice subtle difference in your skin’s fullness as wrinkles and folds lessen.

Sculptra can be used to plump fine to deep wrinkles and folds on the face, including marionette lines (smile lines), parentheses (nasolabial folds), chin wrinkles, and general hollowness or sunken appearance.

Because Sculptra works to encourage your body to produce collagen, the effects last long after the PLLA has dissolved. Sculptra is called a semi-permanent treatment, and results can be maintained for up to 18 months or more before a touchup is needed.

Sculptra injections cause little discomfort, and a numbing cream can be applied prior to treatment. There is no downtime following Sculptra injections, although you may experience mild bruising, redness, tenderness, bumps, swelling, or bleeding at the injection site. It is best to stay out of the sun following treatment.

Sculptra is safe for all skin types. You may read reports online that lumps or bumps in or around the treatment area can follow Sculptra injections. The cause of the formation of these bumps can stem from improper use of the product and incorrect injection of the product. This is why choosing a highly experienced injector is key to a safe and beautiful treatment.
